Welcome to Just Cook
If you want a hands on cookery school, you’ve come to the right place. We don’t do demonstration only classes, we don’t cram loads of you in and we don’t do anything that you can’t easily do at home once you’ve got a little knowledge and confidence.
What we DO do, is run small, fun classes where you have your own pots, pans, knives and all the other equipment you need to make, from scratch, beautiful food that you can take home to share with friends and family later on.
Just click on the images below to browse around the site to see what classes we offer. Get a friend to come with you and you’ll BOTH save money, get a group of friends together and we’ll create a class just for you. And if there’s anything you need but can’t find, drop me a line via our contact page.
Many thanks and hope to see you soon.
Anyone can become a good cook. It isn’t hard. Good cooks know one thing; there is always more to learn. No matter how good they are, they can always become better.
Good cooks are wise; they understand that learning is one of life’s great pleasures and they never want to stop. They experiment, they taste, they question, all in pursuit of learning.
Good cooks are smart; they invest wisely. They don’t waste time or money on things they won’t remember, they know that the best value comes when they retain what they have been taught.
But what is the best way to learn?
• Have someone tell you a recipe?
• Read a cook book?
• Watch a cookery programme?
• Attend a demonstration?
• Join a club or forum?
• Or get hands on and do it yourself, with guidance from a teacher?
We’ll let you make your own mind up, but there is a very good reason why our school is equipped with so many hobs & ovens; why we have so much equipment & so many utensils; why our classes are all about you getting hands on & practical, & why we encourage you to pass on what you have learnt.
